The Scottish Rite Singers have just completed another exciting and active Year 2002. In addition to their participation in the degree work at the all-day session on this past November 10th, the Memorial Service at Bonnie Blink on November 4th, and their successful presentation before a large audience at the Eastern Star Christmas Party for the residents of Bonnie Blink on December 11th. The Scottish Rite Singers have also presented a variety of musical performances at the Inner Harbor Circle Club, the Roland Park Place Retirement Community, the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, the Catonsville Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Hammons Lane Nursing Center. The January 2003 schedule calls for performances at the Towson AARP, the Wesley Home on Rogers Avenue, and the Frederick Villa Nursing Home in West Baltimore. The major objectives of the Scottish Rite Singers are as follows: (1). To bring enjoyment to others through the medium of music; (2). To have fun doing this; (3). To develop a closer relationship with our Scottish Rite Brethren, and (4). to serve the Scottish Rite organization as public relations ambassadors.
