Highland Lodge No. 184
Ancient Free and Accepted Masons

      Chartered: May 14th, 1890

Highland Lodge, circa 1914

The Worshipful Master, Wardens and Members of Highland Lodge welcome you to our website. Our Lodge is located at:

    310 South Conkling Street
    Baltimore, MD 21224

and is the only working AF&AM Lodge in the City of Baltimore. The building pictured on the right is the third home for the members of Highland Lodge, being purpose-built as a Masonic Temple in 1913 and dedicated the following year.

For directions to our Lodge, click on: Directions

The building comprises a meeting and memorabilia room on the first floor, a kitchen and dining area in the basement, and on the second floor, one of the most beautiful Lodge Rooms in Maryland. The Lodge Room's columns, pilasters, curved plaster ceiling and traditional orientation provides an impressive and reverential setting for the work of Highland's members.

Highland holds its Lodge meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of every month except July and August, when the Lodge is closed for the summer. Dinner is provided before the meeting, starting at 6:00 PM, with the meeting starting punctually at 7:00 PM. Second monthly meetings are often held on the 4th Wednesday of the month when degree work and other Lodge business requires the extra meeting. (See the Trestle Board for the schedule of upcoming meetings and degree work.)

All regular Master Masons holding a current dues card from their home Lodge are cordially and fraternally invited to attend our meetings.

Men who are not members of the Masonic Fraternity and who wish to learn more about membership are cordially invited to review the information on this website by clicking here, or by contacting our Lodge Secretary, Brother Past Master Paul Sparaco, at 410-687-4144.
