yes i used to to work for southaven pd. and im trying to get into the reserves now. i already went through the academy in Tupelo MS and im just wanting to keep my certification up. The reason i quit was because of the money. My wife and i just had our first child and it was very tight, so i had to go back to my old job as a mechanic. If you could give me any information i would appreciate it.

I am a State Parole Officer I in the 5 County Supervision Unit out of the South Wichita Parole Office - Wichita, Kansas (E-Mail address: sogteama1@msn.com ). I am a 49 year old State Parole Officer working for the Kansas Department of Corrections in the Southern Parole Region of the State of Kansas. I am part of a three person supervision tream in the 5 County Supervision Unit out of the South Wichita Parole Office. The 5 County Supervision Unit supervises state parolees and interstate compact probationers/parolees in the 5 County Supervision Area of Butler, Cowley, Harper, Kingman and Sumner Counties. All state parole officers in the State of Kansas are commissioned state level Law Enforcement Officers through the Kansas Department of Corrections. Prior to working for the KDOC, I was a Police Officer, Traffic Officer and then a Police Detective for the Leavenworth Police Department for a total of 18 1/2 years, with the last 11 of those years as a police detective in the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB). My prior Law Enforcement experience has helped me quite a bit in seeing through all the lies that parolees tell. Parolees in the State of Kansas start lying when their lips move, as you can never accept anything they say! I was in the United States Army for 3 years prior to that with service in S.E. Asia in 1969-70 with the 101st Airborne Division. I would like to avoid having to tell war stories, but upon request will be most happy to provide further details of that part of my life. I am married to my second wife, Penny L. Hubbell. I like to collect firearms, go shooting, hunting, send letters/Email to pen pals. I have 4 grandchildren, 6 cats and 2 dogs.
