Museum Committee - The Museum Chairman, along with the MSP Museum Curator, operate the MSP Museum which is based at Maryland State Police Headquarters in Pikesville, MD. More information is located within this web site. Historian Committee - The MSPAA Historian keeps all files and photographs. This committee maintains a scrap book on the history of the MSPAA. Trooper of the Year - This is a four member committee who selects the MSPAA Trooper of the Year each year from a list of recommendations of various supervisors of the Maryland State Police. Monument Committee - This committee is responsible for keeping the Fallen Heroes Monument and the Walk of Honor in good condition. Nominating Committee - This committee administers election of officers of the MSPAA. Merchandise Shop - This committee oversees items for sale to the members of MSPAA, such as shirts, jackets and other miscellaneous items. These items are sold at the MSPAA meetings. Legal Counsel - This position is usually occupied by a member of the MSPAA who is an Attorney at Law, and is appointed as the Alumni Association's Legal Counsel. Web Page Administrator - This committee is responsible for the design and maintenance of the MSPAA WEB page. Name Plate & Special Retirement Tag - This person is responsible for providing, upon request, will procure a special retirement tag, suitable for mounting, and a special name badge.
